Vanilla Alternative Flags + Darker Flags

Ever felt like some of the flags in HOI4 needed a redesign?

This mod adds a game rule to change the flag of 11 countries to have a alternative one.

To use it, simply go down to the bottom of the game rules and choose what country you want to be changed. By Default the flags are set to the colors of Vanilla HOI4, but if you use Darker Flags you can also choose between having a darker version of the flags. If you don't like any of the Alternative flags you can also have them be disabled entirely.



• Italy
(Switches the flag to the Italian Social Republic flag)
• Soviet Union
(Switches the flag upon becoming neutral to the Russian Empire Flag)
• France
(Switches the flag upon Reviving the Third Empire to the French Imperial Flag)
• Norway
(Changes color and flag through a event) (Switches the flag upon picking the third monarchist option to the a custom Norwegian King's Flag)
• USA
(Switches the flag upon switching to fascism to a custom American Fascist Flag)
• Japan
(Switches the flag upon becoming neutral, and depending on what path you take you either get the Imperial flag or a custom Shogunate flag)
• Hungary
(Switches the flag upon switching to fascism to a custom Fascist Hungarian Flag)
• Yugoslavia
(Switches the flag upon upon the start of the game to the flag of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia)
• Portugal
(Switches the flag upon completing Strengthen the Regime to the Presidential flag of Portugal)
• Germany
(Switches the flag upon choosing either of the german paths after the civil war to the War Flag of the German Empire or a custom version of the Reichsflotte flag)
• UK
(Switches the flag upon switching to Fascism to the Flag of British Union Of Fascists)
