This game is fantastic! Support the publishers by purchasing your own copy.

I'm not affiliated with Forbidden Games or their kickstarter. I'm just a fan of this game, and a dude who's been geeking out with Lua scripting lately. I saw this as a fun challenge, and to be honest, this game definitely benefits from having an automated setup. I found all the assets I needed from other mods, including bryks work as well as Sharkus for the solo cards.

@Informal_Geek are you still actively supporting your mod, seeing that you did not reply fpr more than a year?
I have modified a copy of your mod to have sufficient space for cards, providing automated arranging of cards on the board and automated counting of pillars; currently I'm even trying to implement automated victory point counting.

This is amazing! Unfortunately, by November 2024, the card images are not available, so this is unplayable. I really hope this can be corrected soon.

The scripting is good, but we ran into a few issues:
1. There's no space to play cards (as I see someone else mentioned below)
2. City tiles should be taller than town tiles. As it is, you have to hover over each to really be able to determine influence/points.
3. Tech cards in hand shouldn't be visible to other players
4. Players should have a counter to be able to track points
5. The resource counters are nice, but I would prefer if they were arranged in the same order as the production tracks (Population - Stone - Food - Ideas - Money)

Great scripts so far!(Setup is pain in the back to do manually!), only one small problem occured.

If physics set to anything but "full", then "Empire scoring" cards do not shuffled correctly, and tax and tarrifs deck placed a little off too.

Very minor issue, and even such giant as "Mage knight(scripted)" had this problem. I'll just set it to "full" at setup, and then back to "none" later, and everything is working correctly. :)

Nevertheless, great stuff, thanks for your hard work!

PS: If other players ping is more then a ~100, it's easy to toss something a bit too much, because of a lag, but it is less of an issue with physics set to "none".

I could load everything. The scriping is nice. However, in this game each player needs a lot of space in front of them for the cards they put in play. There is basically zero space for those cards in this mod. How is one supposed to actually play the game on this table?

Try once with Mod Caching turned off to force pull assets. If that works, turn Mod Caching back on and you're good to go. Menu > Configuration > Game > uncheck the box > reload the mod. Let me know how that goes.

Thanks so much! I reloaded it today. It loaded up good and did the set up once I selected the amount of players (which is amazing thank you) but then half of the cards where floating and blank.....
