KamAZ-6560 is a heavy off-road chassis, presented in the summer of 2005 at the 9th International Automobile Exhibition in Moscow, and then at the IDEX 2005 arms and military equipment exhibition in Abu Dhabi.

The chassis was developed for the 96K6 Pantsir-S1 air defense missile system . Currently, the vehicle is produced by the plant in modification 6560-43 in two versions: a chassis for installing special add-ons (6560-3198-43) and a flatbed truck (6560-6610-43).

When loaded to its full weight, the machine has axle loads of more than 10 tons, so its use on public roads is limited. The vehicle is designed for use in garage-free storage. The vehicle lifespan set by the factory is 180-300 thousand km. depending on the severity of operating conditions. The total weight of the towed trailer is 12,000 kg, the total weight of the road train is 50,000 kg. Based on the machine, the Galich Crane Plant produces self-propelled cranes of the 50-ton class: KS-65713 with a boom reach of 34.1 m and a maximum load moment of 160 Tm, KS-65715 with a boom reach of 40 m and a maximum load moment of 170 Tm.
