The kaiserin von rowekistan was the first of a 2 ship class. She is one of the Kaiserin type ships (70-100 meters) She was launched in 1908 .
She had a fantastic maiden voyage in 1909 and was and imediate sensational among passengers . She served in WW1 as a troopship and her sister as a hospital ship. In 1937 she was sold to a museum in Hamburg.
