R.S.V. Ashford (SAR Catamaran) w/ RHIB

The R.S.V Ashford, owned by the SAR division of OMUA (Oceanic Marine Underwater Agency), a (fictional) multinational marine and research agency, is outfitted with the latest life-saving and survivor detection gear for coastal SAR operations. The sleek design allows for a top speed of 30 knots, and the wide catamaran hull gives stability in rough conditions. The rear deck features a RHIB and gantry crane. The cabin is outfitted with a bridge, ROV operation centre, and survivor area and small lounge. Intended for small crews and short trips, the Alston is manned a standard operations crew of 3 and up to 3 other staff. As with all OMUA vessels, all systems are designed to be operated by a 1-man crew, in case of emergencies.
