JAS-39 Gripen (British Spec Multi-Role Fighter Jet)

描述
JAS-39 Gripen

Info:

This is a Fictional UK Spec Jas-39 Gripen capable of Air to Air & Air to Ground. It follows the same design as the standard Swedish Gripen with some “British” flare to it. It is capable of AAR and has the facilities to be upgraded.

Max Speed: 250kts
Fuel Capacity: 4250L Total (1450L Internal, 2800L Drop Tanks)
Weaponry: x2 30mm Cannon, x2 AIM-9X, x2 AIM-120D, x2 LSOW, X6 Chaff
Engine: HL05 (No APU), x2 Main Battery, x2 Reserve Battery
Features: 11G Maneuverability, Auto-Repair, Aerial Refuelling, Configurable Pylons

Startup:

System Power (Back Left Battery Panel)
ENG FP (Front Left Engine Management Panel, Fuel Pumps)
ENG GEN (Engine Generators)
ENG Crank (Push Throttle to Idle- 2%)
Canopy (Front Right Landing Gear & Misc Panel)
Lights of your Choice (Center Right Lighting Panel)
Radar Power (Center Right Cockpit Configuration Panel)
HUD Power
MFD Power

Disabled Parking Brake

Shutdown:

System Power Off
Enable Parking Brake
Exit Cockpit
Jump on top of Aircraft & open Center Maintenance Hatch
Main Power Breaker Off (Completely turns off Aircraft)

Fuel Lines:

The Engine draws more fuel from the Main Tank quicker than the Drop Tanks can push fuel into the Main Tank. This means that the Aircraft can run out of fuel even though there is Fuel in the Drop Tanks still, your Fuel Gauge will indicate fuel is dropping which it is but it is also being replaced but is being replaced slower than what is being used.

You can mitigate this issue by reducing Throttle which will reduce Fuel Consumption allowing additional Fuel to enter the Main Tank.

Generator:

The Generator on board the Aircraft is weak, it can only keep up with all Systems being powered on if you have at least 97% Throttle. If the Aircraft is on the ground not doing anything, Shutdown the Aircraft or activate Ground Charge (Behind Pilot Seat). This will allow you to Throttle to Max without moving thus charging the Battery. This issue collides with the Fuel Lines issue so make sure you keep an eye on both of these Factors, this was not intentionally done but is a cool dynamic feature i think.

Safety Features:

RDR WRN- Will warn of incoming Radar Pings, basically an RWR. Long Beep= Locked, Short Beep= Being Scanned but not Locked.

LSR WRN- Will warn of incoming IR Lasers, Frequency can be manually changed inside the Nose Landing Gear Housing via a Keypad (Default 0)

LOW FUEL- Will Beep if below 200L Main Tank- Reference Fuel Lines

ENG RDY- Engine is Ready, Taxi/ Takeoff can commence

Weapon Employment:

x2 30mm Cannon

Twin Mounted 30mm Cannons are fitted on the under belly of the Aircraft which are loaded with HE.

x2 AIM-9X

Short Range Radar Guided Missiles, Only Effective Against Airborne Threats

x2 AIM-120D

Long Range Radar Guided Missiles, Effective Against All Threats

X2 LSOW

Mid Range Radar Guided Glide Missiles, Only Effective Against Ground & Sea Threats)

x6 Chaff

Radar Guided Missile Countermeasures, Hinders Locking

Future Expansions:

(You can modify this Aircraft as long as you give me Credit & request my permission beforehand)

Video Datalink- Systems are already installed but not to MFD’s.
Additional MFD Functionality- MFD’s are very basic due to lack of Aircraft space to store complicated Microcontrollers.
Radio Jammer Pod
NAV FLIR Pod
Radar Guided Targeting Pod
Better Fuel Lines
