A series of ships and items included in the battle of ulsan, which took place in Aug.1904 during the Russo-Japanese war. The battle ended up with the victory of the much superior Japanese fleet with relatively more ships and advanced designs. The Russian fleet suffered 1 ship-loss and the other 2 ships heavily damaged , while the Japanese have minor casualties. The battle broke the Russian atempt to support port Arthur and protected the vital commerce line from Japan to Liao-dong peninsula , where the Japanese are having a decisive fight to take the city of Lu-Shun.
