Mega Man Weapons

描述
Mega Man Weapons is a mod that adds items from the Mega Man series of games.
This mod focuses on the classic series, but I am considering expanding things later down the road.
The mod contains weapons from:
-The first ten Mega Man games
-Mega Man & Bass / Rockman & Forte
-Rockman World 5 / Mega Man V

Guide:
Your freshly-made character will spawn in with the Mega Buster already in your inventory. The weapon is initally weak, but
you can use special weapons that you craft and find throughout your journey to power it up.
During your adventure you will also find a new ore that lies underneath the ground. This ore is called Ceratanium, and
smelting it into bars will allow you to wear the armor of a certain blue bomber.
Get as many special weapons for your buster as you can & level up your gear!
(Recipe Browser is recommended to see how to craft the items!)

-A new damage class
-More to come in future updates!

This is my first Terraria mod, so excuse any imperfections or bugs you encounter along the way.
I hope that you enjoy playing this mod as much as I enjoyed making it.

-Added a Mob Spawn Rate slider to the mod's Main Config page
Changes:
-Selecting an empty special weapon slot selects the energy shot
-Quick swap no longer skips over empty slots
-Noise Crush's damage has been increased (13 -> 18)
-Spark Shock's damage has been increased (22 -> 28)
-Knight Cruhser's damage has been increased (20 -> 26)
-Knight Cruhser's speed and range have been increased
-Magic Card's damage has been increased (20 -> 23)
-Magic Card's range has been increased
-Drill Bomber's size and speed have been increased
-Dust Crusher's size has been increased
-Photon Missile's size has been increased
-Fire Storm's size has been increased
-Napalm Bomb's size and speed have been increased
-Power Stone's size has been increased
-Flame Blast's size and height have been increased
-Medium Charge Shot projectile's size has been increased
-Super Mega Buster's charge speed has been increased
-Super Mega Buster's speed has been increased
-Magma Bazooka's angle has been decreased

Gotta say. The UI elements being immovable (especially the loadout buttons) is really annoying.
Also, game not remembering the weapon selection on game load is also a bummer.

When I am opening my inventory, a "Parts" menu pops up with 4 slots. How do I prevent this from happening? Or, how do I manually open/close the "Parts" menu? I got other mods that require attention during inventory screen menu.

you can start mining ceratanium once you defeat BoC/EoW, and make their respective pickaxes. Whatever pickaxe power they have is what you need to mine it.

The mod is fun and has a lot of potential but there really needs to be adjustments to gear progression and especially weapon balance. The 1st armor needing a world evil pickaxe to mine it and then the 2nd (and final) armor upgrade being a post-mech upgrade feels pretty bad and kinda forces the player to stick with the Warding modifier. Lots of weapons feel borderline useless and as result there are some weapons that stick around well past their progression point simply because the "upgrades" don't have the same damage and/or ease of use to make them worth it.

The mod could really benefit from something like a Mk. II version of both armors to make it feel like you're progressing more, and lots of weapons could really use a damage buff just to make certain options not completely overshadow 90% of the weapons in the mod.
