描述
Introduction

For all your scrapyard-mad scientist - or tech ruin tribal needs, inspired by oldschool sci fi and postapocalyptic media. This mod essentialy allows tribal factions to play as tech-scrappers and have a fighting chance against mechanoids, aswell as use mechanoid components for early-game equipment. This mod was brought to you by Crackajack, who mainly drew the textures and brought the ideas. I, Three-Legged_Wolf, wrote the Xml.

This mod offers:

Dreaded Weapons, armors, heavy makeshift bionics, toxic combat hallucinogens and reanimated cyborg mechanoids, all made from recycled materials.
Disassembling mechanoids now yield a variety of new resources on top of the usual (non destructive patching); ancient mechanoid cables, servos, powercells, armorplates and computer units which can be used in various ways.
This mod also allows the option to utilize electricity in early game by repurposing ancient mechanoid conduits and dirty power cells. The tribal-level electricity mastery is very limited and comes with some caveats.

TLDR

- New components, mainly obtained from mechanoids, to craft/build useful stuff in your early-game colony.
- New weapons (both tribal-level and industrial)
- New Armors and equipment.
- New Early-game (and late-game) Implants and replacement bodyparts for your mutilated tribals.
- New Drug made from toxic wastepacks. (Very powerful, very addictive, very dangerous)
- New Mechanitor Mechanoids assembled from corpses.
- New Buildings; Power-cell generator (low output, polutes terrain), Cooler, Welding Bench, and more.

are there options to turn off some of the stuffs like armors and weapons? i am only interested with the cool looking prosthetics

jonny hol dir dune, ist 1st person rimworld auf conan exiles basis, gebäudebau ist weit weniger behindert ;)

mkay, i agree with you two, thanks for the feedback. im not sure how to actually make a faction, but i can try. im a bit careful with this, cause badly written factions can cause bugged quests o.O
but the research should have its own tab, is it not working? i´ll add some recipes soonish

Def needs more ways to get the crafting bits. Also, the research does not have its own tab on the research menu?

Pretty cool new update, the new xenotype has a icon problem surrounding its overlay is this green texture, not sure if its intentional but it does stand out,

I really appreciate the weapons being more rare due to their unique build nature.

Been having a compatibility issue with the likes of https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2945753581 (mechanitor balance tweaks)

Where the resources from this mod will not drop from mechanoids which puts a stop to my ability to use this mod's resources, I would appreciate it a lot if there was another way to acquire this mods resources or a patchOp for to work with that mod and prolly a few others which wont drop the unique resources from GR.

Lastly on the new xenotype, maybe it could become a new faction which combines the mechanoids and the psycho pawns? it would be pretty interesting to have these psycho's and corpse 'noids have their own unique faction, good ol' days of rimsenal feral.

ahem. update^^ as you can see in the patchlog(im sure everyone totally looks at that lol)- weapons are much more rare on spawning, using tags to make them spawn on the right factions too, some bionics are visible now, and theres a "psycho" xenotype to recruit or to raid you, and it´ll be like you killed john wicks dog. i´ll rework their textures somewhat, later on, and this mod might go through some more updates in the near future. feedback appreciated!

not having the empire spawn with this equipment, yeah i agree that´d be better, i´ll try to find out

you mean the game crashes when loading a save thats expecting this mod? uh, try removing any content of it from your map, and use mid save saver. ofc i know people dont expect to rescue saves with removed mods, but maybe it works? you´ll probably have to manually remove some quests..
