Choi Hung Estate - High Slab Block

Choi Hung Estate is a public housing estate in Hong Kong. The name "Choi Hung" translates to rainbow in English, it was named after a nearby settlement of Choi Hung Village. The Palmer & Turner Group built the estate's buildings between 1962 and 1964, including Bauhaus architectural characteristics. The estate has 11 tall and short Slab Block buildings, several schools, a carpark building, and shops on the ground floor of some of the residential blocks.

The rainbow colored buildings has become one of the city's most popular photo spots among locals and tourist. About 18,000 people currently reside in these buildings. In 2023, because of the age of the structures and increasing housing needs, the authorities have announced that they are making plans to demolish and rebuild the entire housing estate in the future.

The fence on the staircase on the both side of the building will cause visual glitch when viewed on certain angle, rename the building to remove the fence.

Use the Repaint mod to change color of
the walls on the middle and the two end of the buildings.

This building needs the Ploppable RICO Revisited mod to become a residential building, without the mod it will become a unique building.
