描述
Conversion from the Dominions5 map Valanis_Revision_TheFinn by thefinn.

Certain mountain/highlands tweaked from the original. I take no credit for creation of this map.

provinces: 142 land and 21 sea

Since the old gods vanished, the world is crumbling into pieces, bringing down with it the remains of previously glorious civilisations. To save what can be saved, Valanis inhabitants have started to pray to new gods, but it seems as if all do not agree on who is the most worthy pretender. Dark ages are coming, and violence only will be able to resolve that situation... The map is designated for games between 8 and 12 players

Hey, I know it's been a little while, but I have a bugfixed version of the map that fixes the mountains->holy site bug I could send you if you'd like to post an update. I don't want to be rude poaching a pre-existing upload without offering first.

why are there so many monasteries of light on this map?

Apparently I was wrong (and the manual is lying :P) and it's not weighing towards holy sites, just automatically placing a monastery of light in many provinces.

Cheers for porting this classic map, unfortunately there's a bug in the map when converted from 5 to 6, caused by the addition of the glamour terrain mask, that makes many provinces weighted towards spawning holy sites to the exclusion of other sites.
