Garrisons

Nice. This was my first and last mod for the game so did not know that.

i was looking at the code for your mod, it seems you have done it on a per player basis. if you change the number to -2 that is the event player so you don't have to write out a new argument for every player.

I would not want the garrisons to be any lower myself I feel like it's just the right amount to keep the pests away...can't really keep much else away.

I think it can be done, but this mod is really old so I'm not sure I will get around to it. You can look at the mod file and see if you can add a variable that will go down every turn and once it reaches 0, the amount is increased. You should be able to decrease the amount in the mod file without knowing modding. There I think is a number that you can make whatever you wish.

would it be possible to half the size of the garrisons. I feel like it has made the map stationary for a lack of a better word. I really like how it forces you to have a battle over each piece of enemy land. I don't know how you would do this but making the garrisons start with 1-3 units than after say 3 turns grow to 4-6 units representing stable growth, also makes trading settlments less unrealistic.

Yeah, it gives you a little buffer against the weakest stuff coming at you.

Yeah nothing overpowering just enough to keep the riff raff out! It's great because you don't have to worry about some stupid mouse taking everything haha

Some basic militia or levies or something like that, don't recall what they are called exactly.
