Olsen & Co SAR Canary

This is a capable search and rescue helicopter, capable of making solo rescues at sea. It costs $20,000 so it is a great starter helicopter (although the radio must be removed for it to be cheap enough). It is complete with a radio, winch system, 10 minutes of fuel (last time I checked), rescue equipment, and more.

This was initially meant to have autopilot but I was not able to get any workshop micro controllers working on this. If you are able and willing to, help getting autopilot working would be great. This was also meant to have automatic water avoidance but I was not able to get my own micro controller design working. Despite all this, it does have working autohover so it is still capable, just not as much as I hoped.

Overall, this helicopter is fairly intuitive. The one part that might require explanation is the startup procedure. Due to the under powered nature of the engine in my attempt at getting any sort of fuel economy, the clutch must be slowly eased in.
