Information

This is a massive visuals overhaul that I have been working on for a couple of months which, in my opinion, fully transforms how the game looks and feels.

Includes

  • New ground textures (I borrowed some from awesome Oskutin's Nordic retextures pack);
  • New road and paths textures, new one way markings;
  • New NA themed traffic signs, street lights, traffic lights models, park street lights;
  • 3 new types of fences (replacing originals);
  • New crops and fences for fields;
  • Clean railroad pylons (again, borrowed from Oskutin's pack);
  • Clean pedestrian bridges;
  • Adjusted colors of various shrubs, acacia turned to birch tree (thanks to Oskutin);
  • Downscaled trees by ~25% (thanks to Oskutin);
  • New small waste containers;
  • New, more blue, water;
  • New skyboxes (no more two suns, starry night with big moon, wonderful evening);
  • New in-game natural lightning;
  • Car headlights and taillights are less aggressive now;
  • More warm color of street lights and windows glowing;
  • New, more subtle borders;
  • Transformed transparent text into blue neon-ish lettering (font not included);
  • New dead ends for roads;
  • New catenary pylons for rails;
  • New textures and models for rails, sleepers, buffer stop and gravel;
  • New textures for airport taxiway, runway, heliport and airplane parking;
  • More subtle vehicle station;
  • Aaaand maybe something else.

Installation

Copy files located in
steamapps\workshop\content\784150\3167758902\media_soviet
to
steamapps\common\SovietRepublic\media_soviet
And agree to overwrite when asked to.

Deinstallation

Is this inspired on North-American road-design? It does'nt have a (Eastern) European feel to it. I have never been in America, but it looks like what I seen in Movies and TV-shows...

Respect for putting so much work in it (I guess it is a lot of work). It does look nice.
