Contains the Soldier class from the Starfinder 2nd Edition: Field Test 1.

This Mod is dependant on the Starfinder Weapons mod.

Note that Primary Target works a little bit different for coding simplicity. Instead of choosing a valid target after firing with an area or autofire weapon, you instead select a target to be your Primary Target as a free action, and if that target meets the requirements to be the Primary Target when you use an area fire action, it will automatically shoot at that primary target as well.

Soldiers excel at using area and automatic weapons, they get to select a primary target and get additional attacks on that target if they are positioned correctly within the area fire.
They also cause enemies who fail against their area fire to become suppressed, causing a -1 circumstance penalty to their attack rolls, and a -10 ft status penalty to speeds.
Their primary stat is Constitution, and have features that make use of their bulky stature this represents, including using their constitution in place of strength for qualifying for heavy armor strength requirements, and using Constitution instead of Charisma for intimidation checks.

Features include:
-introduction of the suppressed condition
-the basic features of the soldier (with slight modifications*)
-Bombard Fighting Style:
you are really good at aiming your area fire, and your allies automatically avoid damage from your area fire effects
(except summoned companions, this is a known bug). Enemies also gain the suppressed condition on a save instead
of a failure against area attacks (but not on a critical successs)
-Armor Storm fighting style:
you never count as being in the area of your own area fire weapons. You also gain half your level as resistance to
any damage from targets who are suppressed.

Missing features that are in the field test related to Soldier:
-Close Quarters fighting style (a style about switching between melee and ranged, the style seemed kinda half baked in the field test, and I didn't want to put in the work to rework it).
-some feat options (some of the harder to code ones or don't have enough support, or are too niche to be worth the effort)
-level 5 (since Dawnsbury Days only goes up to level 4)

Feats include:
--Level 1:
-Pin-Down (1 action): you focus more salvo than normal against your primary target. they must make a save again or be suppressed.
-Quick-Swap (reaction): When an enemy gets within melee range, you can swap your two handed weapon with the first two handed weapon in your inventory that meets these requirements: one weapon must be ranged, and one must be melee.
--Level 2:
-Menacing Laughter (1 action): attempt a demoralize check against each creature within 30 feet who you have suppressed.
-Relentless Endurance (reaction): when you take damage, you can use a reaction to gain 1d8+4 temporary HP (the game does not support level that this feat would otherwise scale with).
--Level 4:
-Overwhelming Assault: your MAP against suppressed targets is -4(-3 with agile weapons) and -8 (-6 with agile weapons). This is slightly different from the field test, where third attacks got -9 (or -8 with agile weapons) because that seems like a typo.
-Punishing Salvo (1 action): If your last action was a primary target strike, you can make another attack against that primary target, even if your weapon usually could not make that strike. (in the field test, this doesn't work with area weapons, but since I didn't implement widen area, I wanted to give area weapon soldiers something to pick at level 4).

Planned Features:
-Warning shot (feat 1): When originally coded, the ability to do pre-combat actions was not in the modding API, but that has been added, thus this feat should be doable.
-Widen Area (feat 1): I just sorta gave up on this one when first publishing this, and forgot about it. I should get back and set this one up.

Missing Feats:
-Ready Reload (level 1): As far as I can tell, all weapons reload with 1 action for now, so this doesn't do anything (I guess it could work with heavy crossbow... but who wants to use heavy crossbow on soldier?)
-Warning Shot (level 1): see Planned Features
-Steady Up (level 2): situations where you are worried about being moved seem niche... I could see it being useful occasionally, but it doesn't seem worth the effort.
-Widen Area: see planned features.

Misc:
-when first publishing the feat, I didn't know how to add skill training to specific skills, so I just gave the Soldier an extra skill training instead of automatically trained in intimidation. I know how to do this now, so I will probably update it.

Known Issues:
-summoned creatures and companions are affected normally by area fire from bombard soldiers. This may require updating the Starfinder Weapons mod unless I can help it.
-Occasionally, primary targets may not get attacked when it seems they should fit the criteria for getting hit. This requires more investigating.
