Kriger TS1020-77B Excavator

Kriger's latest excavator is finally here! The brand new TS1020-77B has arrived!

This is a big excavator for a serious operation.

Unlike the TS1020-77, the B model comes standard with a digging and dumping bucket. Additionally, operator controls have been improved but other than that the model is virtually the same to the original TS1020-77.

This excavator has a heavy duty carriage and a big engine to power all of it.


Operation:
Climb the ladder and go in the cab and slightly lift the main boom by pressing UP

Get out of the cab and open the door in front of the ladder and next to the service door.

Start the prelubrication process, there's a key as you open the door.

If you haven't heard the clunk of the hydraulic cylinder connecting already then wait for it to connect.

Make sure to visually inspect it's connected then stop the prelubrication process and break the ropes to operate the machine freely

Lift the ladder, close the door and go back in the cab

Tracking this machine is old school so to track forward use 1 and 2. If you want to turn a bit then apply brakes on the tracks you wish to move. So if you want to turn left then apply the brakes on the left track.
To reverse you can use 3 and 4 and again the brakes for turning a bit.
You can try moving one track forward with the other backward or all types of combination. You'll get the hang of it. Once you have it, it's pretty easy.

SPACEBAR (Trigger) is for Drilling or Dumping so to Dig then Load a truck, start the Drill, move the bucket to the mineral deposit and wait for the bucket to fill up. Once you're ready to unload the bucket into a truck, while keeping the Drill active, move the bucket over the truck and then stop the drill; the bucket will automatically unload.

On the Multi-function display you have your RPM, KPH and lower left is fuel and lower right is battery. There are buttons since this is a multi-function display and you can switch to different cameras positioned around the machine.
