The tso, an extraplanar race of slavers, suffered from an ancient curse that only allowed them to reproduce by poisoning one of their kind to serve as a walking hatchery. The Aistheat, tso warlocks, knew the source of the curse, but strived to hide it, but one tso named So'idani managed to learn the secret and dispel the curse, dooming the tso race. Having no means to reproduce naturally, the tso went extinct. Neogi slaves saw this as a divine intervention, the fact that pushed the ki'zids to the ruling position. After becoming fore faithful, the neogi split the ki'zid caste and most of the slaves into groups based around the aspects of neogi faith - murder, war, tyranny, torture, and envy.
