Sakkra are a reptilian race descended from the trilarians, who were banished from the sea in the distant past. These scaly humanoids adapted to the land and gradually lost their ability to breathe water. While living in the caves, they have found a magical site - the Amalgam - that allowed them to crossbreed many different types of creatures by spilling their blood. The Amalgam pool contains a metallic liquid that can be used for imbuing creatures with strange powers. The Sakkra used magical experiments and crossbreeding to create two slave races - the hard-working raas and the grendarl warriors.

This nation and its counterparts in other ages are very loosely based on the Sakkra race from the Master of Orion series.
