Undertale Death Animation
Tired of the boring old "Last Will" when you die? Finally, now you can see your SOUL shatter into pieces as you get telefragged by Delirium!

Features different SOUL colors depending on the last heart you had before death. Doesn't really work with modded revives as they work differently than vanilla ones and aren't detectable. Sorry!

Undertale Yellow, too!
You can now enable the Undertale Yellow screen variant in the settings! Press the button you use to open the debug console, and look towards the top of the screen for the Undertale Death Screen menu. The settings menu button is found in there.

Hi, the mod works perfectly except that I literally can't see the screen and the dialogue? The animation of the heart breaking up works and I can select the options (even with controller), but the text doesnt appear :faithmikey:

Hello, great mod, but there is one vanilla scenario where this mod breaks: you know how when you are berserk as tainted samson you can't die for a little while? This mod doesn't work with that, and despite still being alive, you get the death screen.
I don't know how hard is it to fix it, but considering this mod also doesn't work with modded revive items, what if you added a sort of "blacklist" setting, where you could choose characters and items, with which this mod disables itself?

i love this mod, but please make it so that when you are revived it actually does the animation for the "but it refused" instead of just being text. either way im still using this mod all the time. super cool.

I'm getting the black screen issue (no continue/exit pop-up), it seems to be a conflict with Co-op plus not sure if you could fix it but if you could that would be cool.

@MephilesKun hi sorry, you'll have to press L2 on your controller (active item button) to select an option. i do want to implement proper controller support, not sure when though as it's complicated and I'm busy with other projects, sorry!

@MugMug i compared the two game over songs in Audacity and they're both around the same volume, with Undertale Yellow's being slightly louder in some parts. not sure what's up!

Cool update. But now I can't restart the run or exit it with controller. Pressing "A" button (and "Y" for some reason) just scrolls up and down. Pressing "B" to exit like in normal game also don't work. To leave the run you can open pause menu over your screen & leave to the main menu.
