For the last 20 minutes i've been trying to change a rifle in the sub editor to use Hand Cannon ammo as a sort of... limited edition gun to hide on a custom enemy sub, but i can't for the life of me figure out how to do this in the editor, and every tutorial i've found seems to be 2-4 years out of date.
Animated Arms: Adaptive Combat: The weapons are fine here in the mod, you would adapt the outfits for this mod.
If you think all of this is too complicated, you could take this approach: it would be great to have a standalone mod without weapon modifications, only retaining the anime characters' appearances and using the original weapons. This way, the same mod could be compatible with the original weapon upgrades and other weapon mods.
Guns Enhanced: The weapons should have animations and sounds when reloading, but with the appearances from this mod.
Vanilla Gun Modify (VGM): This mod allows you to upgrade the game's standard weapons with attachments. It would be just as great, but with the appearances from this mod.
Enhanced Armaments: In this mod, the weapons are fine as they are; the only thing that would be great to see, and compatible with it, are the appearances, armor, outfits, and clothing.
Enhanced Armaments Fuel for the Fire Expansion: As I mentioned, the weapons are fine; It would be great to see compatibility with skins, armor, outfits, and clothing.
Ah, I suddenly remembered that there's a mod called "S.A.F.S.". Exosuits added by it may be exactly what you'd like to see.
As for the purple version, I don't feel like to put it into the mod, though it's easy to do. Just tell him/her have a try. If skill bonus is also wanted, try this out.
1> Locate mechanic_talent_items.xml. This file defines Exosuit.
2> Write these into Exosuit's code:
<SkillModifier skillidentifier="helm" skillvalue="5"/>
<SkillModifier skillidentifier="electrical" skillvalue="10"/>
<SkillModifier skillidentifier="mechanical" skillvalue="10"/>
3> If changes are not applied, make a local copy of the mod and enable it.
I would like to see Tool arms for the suit, A heavy welder, Heavy Cutter, since the lore for the Exosuit is that it was originally for construction. Something like a heavy grenade launcher, or (and this idea just sounds funny) but a Machine Shotgun would be interesting to see as some combat options for the exosuit.
Also, a friend of mine wanted me to ask, but could the Exosuit have a purple option? same kind of purple the technical EPSP has.
