This mod was commissioned on the RimWorld Mod Market. Thanks to Taranchuk for making it!

Description

PawnKind Extension adds functionality to overwrite CultureDef settings for tattoos, hairstyles, and beards. This grants you extra control over specific PawnKinds without affecting the entire faction.

Step 1. Add this mod as a prerequisite to yours.
Step 2. Copy and paste the included mod extension into your PawnKindDef.
Step 3. Tweak the values to your liking. Additional information on what they do is included.

I still haven't been able to recreate this issue on my end so there's not a whole lot I can do to help here.

@Pajamaman He removed the patch in Rim Authority that gives (vanilla) pirate pawns kriminul hairstyles. I'm not sure if he also removed the modded tattoos.

@watler, how did you fix it? I am having the issue where worldgen wouldnt generate factions correctly as long as i had any of the k4g factions that require pawnkind extension. Did you remove a sepcific patch or file somewhere in the mod?

@тетеря, блин This is possible in the vanilla game. Tattoos are handled through tags and cultures. As far as I know, the only way to change the spawn weights is through the culture tags or in game by creating an ideology.

I'm not exactly sure how that particular mod handles it, but I would assume they either assigned their modded tattoos to a custom tag or used one that already spawns. In either case, you should be able to patch it so that they don't spawn as often.

is it possible for some tattoos or hairstyles to spawn with higher rates for specific factions and with lower rates for others? or maybe overall spawning some of them less? …or maybe if it isn't you know what mod does it? for example, I like details from this mod here and there, but it's too many of them, or I'd love some faction to have more of them:

ok i was semi wrong, its the patch in Rim Authority for giving the pirates the kriminul hairstyle. deleting it fixed it for me, ill leave this here for anyone else

i think this prevents the pirate faction (and every faction base after) from generating. removing it and your core mod allows them to generate. Log said something about the pirate pawnkind hair, related to this mod.

Thanks to @qux for helping me to fix all of the known issues with this mod! Also please note that this mod now includes some AI generated content that was used to improve the original code.
