Realistic Diplomacy Range 1.18

Have you ever played Crusaders King 3 and wanted a further more realistic diplomatic range? In the Iron Age, Rome knew all of the eastern world as far as India and China. I find it odd that in 1066 AD highly developed civilizations don't know who exist beyond their neighboring rulers.

In Crusader Kings 3 under default settings you are extremely limited with the distance you can interact with other rulers. This can cause issues like finding no one to marry or just feeling isolated the entire game to just a few regions. Historically there's evidence that most nations were globally in contact and even had treaties. I increased the Diplomatic Range a bit and after a lot of testing I feel like i found the sweet spot where there still is a restriction but more relaxed.

Using this mod I find that it drastically improves diplomacy overall. This benefits certain cultures and perks which makes investing in diplomacy range more impactful. I always thought that Diplomacy wasn't worth it to invest in but now you can have a larger influence beyond your borders.

Works with existing save files.

Put towards the top of the load order so it wont interfere with other mods that use diplo range.


The best part about this mod is that it should work with essentially any mod. I definitely recommend using my other mod " Realistic Marriage Opinion " as well as some of the other mods below for a great experience.
