If you want to increase the range in the game, you can use the fuel tank mod.

The way to achieve long range in reality is to use the REEV technology. (Range extended electric vehicle.) This is a technology commonly used on trains and ships, Which utilizes oil to generate electricity. Of course, it is not included in this game.

Is it possible to increase the range? I'm aware that your engine is supposed to be an electric motor.

But in the not-too-distant future, Volvo will be able to drive 1,000 km with an electric motor.
Is this feasible? I'd appreciate an answer from you.

The reason for tire slippage stems from the excessive engine output power, which is designed for a smoother acceleration of heavy-duty trucks.

Such problems can be effectively alleviated by using a control handle with a linear throttle or adjusting the chassis (such as 6*4 or 8*4).

Hello, thanks in advance for the mod. I really like it. However, in 1.54 and the 1.55 beta, I noticed that the wheels spin when accelerating or braking.

What are the chances that the mod will be adjusted so that the tires don't spin?

Thank you for your suggestion, this is a question worthy of attention. I will try to modify the relevant values later.
However, at present, there is no real electric engine program for ETS2. All electric trucks are simulated by fuel engines and traditional transmissions, which will inevitably differ from the real world. We hope to look forward with SCS to how these issues can be solved in the future."

Hello, I am currently driving a Scania S BEV with your 3-speed gearbox and electric motor. It is unfortunate that the gearboxes for electric trucks have retarders, because electric trucks do not need them. They brake with the engine and thus recover energy (recuperation). Therefore, a retarder for their gearboxes is not only unnecessary, but also negative, because energy recovery does not work when the retarder is active.

I suggest removing the retarder from the gearboxes for e-trucks. If you don't want that, I would be happy to receive a hint on how I can change it myself :)
