MAP MUST CONTAIN NAV MESH OR NODES TO WORK

ConsoleCommand: cuttasspawningsystem_openmenu

How Does It Work?

Spawns NPCs around the player using NavMesh or Nodes (Or Universal)

Editor

You Will have text box with "Entity Name" and "Type: normal, special, boss"
put in entity class name (file name without .lua) and type
Then Hit Add to add the entity to the list with correct type

There Is Also a Refresh Button if it starts to lag or npcs do not spawn

Settings

Enable Normal NPCS Enables/Disables Normal NPC types
Enable Special NPCS Enables/Disables Special NPC types
Enable Boss NPCS Enables/Disables Boss NPC types
Enable Collision Enables/Disables Collision for NPCS
Enable NPCDetectNPC Enables/Disables NPC Checks with other npcs not spawned through addon

Max Normal NPCS Max Normal NPCS
Max Special NPCS Max Special NPCS
Max Boss NPCS Max Boss NPCS

Normal NPC Time Time until normal npc spawns
Special NPC Time Time until Special npc spawns
Boss NPC Time Time until Boss npc spawns

Normal NPC TTL Time until Normal npc despawns
Special NPC TTL Time until Special npc despawns
Boss NPC TTL Time until Boss npc despawns

Max Spawn Distance Max Distance NPCS spawn
Min Spawn Distance Minimum Distance NPCS spawn

Normal NPC Health Set Health For Normal NPCS
Special NPC Health Set Health For Special NPCS
Boss NPC Health Set Health For Boss NPCS

how do i spawn npcs?

Hello. Could you explain something for a newbie please?

I've tried to use your sequel mod, but it didnt work well (i saw that you are fixing it), and now i am currently using this one. While i was testing, i noticed that choosing the nav_mesh or distance spawn methods, despite editing the spawn quantity and spawn time to 999 and 1 (just an example), at a pretty short range, there would be pretty few enemies.

But, when i choosed the "Node" mode, with the values listed above, my game just turned into absolute madness. Why chosing node spawn mode make the spawns more efficient, and why the other spawn modes are less efficient?

Thanks for your mod, i was really looking for something just like that. :steamthumbsup::TF2_Jack:

Feel like this mod deserves some 2025 refresher update to help address said underneath map spawning issue. I love what this is capable of though. It's made making my Gmod Realism films on YouTube a lot easier.

I love this mod but i am having issues with npcs spawning underneath certain maps while using different spawning methods such as ai node spawning, why is this? Any solutions?

I find having both ZINV coffee edition and this mod is the ideal npc spawning setup. I use your spawner for nextbots since ZINV doesn't do nextbots.
