Goblin Slayer: Season Crystal

Take place in a hypothetical timeline where Goblin Slayer never met Priestess or making any allies and eventually succumbed to his demise in a goblin nest. Then, he woke up as member in a party of four... YOUR party. And now the Goblin Slayer is yet another adventurer, traiblazing Sequoia the land of Crystal and exploration, with no goblin in sight...

Added a new class based on the titular protagonist of the light novel written by Kumo Kagyu.

To unlock, find the goblins near spawn point at the very beginning and kill them, after that parkour to the hills south of Spawning Meadow and find a floating sparkle to get a quest item, finally interact with the NPC in front of Nan's Lodging to unlock the class. That NPC should also tell you to explore the area if you hadn't collect all quest item.

Goblin Slayer has undergone many tweaks since I first made the class, and now I think I'm most satisfied with the current version. He had potential to dish out respectable damage or provide incredibly valuable supports, but also have obvious holes that sub-class and party members are required to cover. Also enable some niches that weren't popular in base game.


It's not a true Goblin Slayer mod without goblins to slay. Lore-wise, I deemed monsters from beyond Trial Cave too perilous for these filthy gremlins to survive, thus you'll mostly fight them in early game stage when your options are poor and the goblins are relentless. But fret not, they don't respawn, so feels free to be goblinated in a cave over and over until the entire nest is cleanse of goblin!


Traveling merchant's shop is updated, allow trading for endgame equipment. Furthermore, he also teach Goblin Slayer new shennanigans to unlock more abilities for Bag o' Tricks. Beside the standard item shop, everything else will also use goblin's loot as currency, so pit your party against these ruthless vagabond is mandatory if you wish to expand Goblin Slayer's support capacity.


If you run this mod alongside The Candleholder, the unlocked Goblin Slayer will have different stat growth and skill set, functionally became an add-on to that mod. Event and NPC also have different dialogues, some even boast new appearance, and there's a new event!

However, goblins follow where the Candle flickers...

• Goblin Slayer's gender is male, he won't have female sprite (they are the same).
  
  
• Certain skills will change the subclass, and skills of said subclass will revert the subclass change.
  
  
• Some of the skills will consume a new item called Magic Scroll.
  
  
• Candleholder exclusive: Since traveling merchant's location is too dark to navigate, he will move to Delende instead. The trigger occur either when you interact him at where he is originally (between Spawning Meadows and Poko Poko Desert) or by talking to an NPC in Delende.
  
  
• A new NPC in Warlock room can recreate the final battle for you.
