描述
Update 2025-9-23: Update to be compatible with 1.10

Update 2025-1-10: Add new cuirassier sword model (prussian M1817) and officer sword model (prussian M1899)

Description:
A german unit model pack that adds various unit models (infantries, cavalries and general) for North German, South German, East German and Alemannic culture.

Uniform colour is depended on flag of the country. Uniform colour change is not and will not be a part of this mod. If you want to change uniform colour of a specific country, please modify files in common\coat_of_arms\coat_of_arms folder by yourself.

Compatibility:
The mod edits files in following folders, which may cause incompatibility for other mods:

common\cultures
gfx\map\spline_network\military_route_graphics
gfx\map\spline_network\route_graphics

Credits:
-Hearts of Iron IV for pickelhaube, mp18 model and texture
-Europa Universalis IV for Bavarian helm model and texture, cuirassier breastplate armour model
-xangelo7 & MrAdrianPl for cuirassier breastplate armour texture, Uhlan Czapka model and texture

Currently there is no plan to make unit models for other cultures/countries, please don't ask about that in the comment section.

Fortunately, I solved the problem that the unit's appearance does not change. However, you said that the color of the unit's outfit should be changed by yourself, so could you tell me where to change it in the "coat of arms" folder?

"Soldiers Patrolling at Peace Time" is compatible.

Other mods, even if not unit changing mods, may still be possible to conflict with this mod due to file structure of Vic3.

I have already tell you all the ways I know, I can't help if that still doesn't work.

First of all, thank you for telling me how to do it. "Soldiers Patrolling at Peace Time", Is it compatible with this mode? Other modes are convenience modes, not unit change modes. I tried the way you told me, but nothing changed.

It works fine on my end.
1. please disable other mods to check if there is mod conflict.
2. if it still not work, try unsubscribe and then resubscribe this mod.

Good to know you figure out the cause of the issue.
No, I have no time to make and maintain a compatibility patch. You can make one by yourself if you want.

I think I've worked out what the culprit is - it's the Phenotypes Plus - More Ethnic Variety Please! mod. I wonder... if it's not too much to ask - would it be possible to make a version of this that is compatible?

I assume it's because of some editing they do to the German cultures (even though it doesn't touch military sprites), but I'd need to delve into the files to see precisely what the issue is.
