ONCE INSTALLING YOU MAY HAVE TO PICK UP AND RE-PLACE DOWN YOUR FACTORIES IN ORDER FOR THEM TO START USING THE NEW SPEED

It makes all the factories 10x faster, why so much? cause the factories in this mod are pretty slow, what one produces in a an hour can be obtained from a few min of manually mining. It is dreadfully slow. this mod makes it feel more balanced (and can help reduce lag by lowering the amount of factories you have working at once)

This mod overwrites the automaticProduction_machine.lua file from the idle factories mod, as such it is NOT COMPATIBLE with any other mod that overwrites such file (all the other factory speed change mods i have seen on the workshop at the time of posting.) but it should be compatible with factory expansion mods.

If there is ever an update for the original idle factories mod, this mod will most likely need to be updated (or it may break things) but since the original has not been updated in 5 years so i don't think that's an issue.

I considered patching the individual factory definition files for more compatibility, but that would make the 10x speed mult effect only the factories added by the base mod (and not ones added by 3rd party expansion mods). so i overwrote the lua file itself.

with this mod the factories will output:
--cultivation
carrot/wheat: 1 per 15 sec
cotton/pearl pea/potato: 1 per 30 sec
cocoa/corn/rice :1 per 45 sec

--miners
tiered miner (iron, tungsten, etc): 1 per 3 sec
erchius: 1 per 12 sec

--block miners
all of them: 1 per sec

--pumps
coconut milk/slime/swamp/water: 1 per 2 sec
liquid erchius/lava: 1 per 4 sec
healing water/oil/poison: 1 per 6 sec

--special
invest mk1: 2.5 per sec
invest mk2: 4 per sec
invest mk3: 16 per sec
component factory: 1 per 2 min (this produces upgrade modules, tech cards, etc)
forester: 1 per 4 sec
OMSS: 1 per min (this produces mob drops like static cells)
salvage 1/2/3: 1 per min
vault: 5 per sec

btw about the comment below. while i have not tested in game. i know theres code in the original mod to check time since last gen and do gens for while the player was off planet/unloaded. i dont know whether that code works or is even actualy used by the mod.

@bidiguilo i tested it. they dont work unless someone is in the same level (i.e. planet or ship)

@bidiguilo thats a question for the original mod, this is a patch. but to answer, the factories should work when unloaded/offscreen but when you first reload them you may have to wait for the factory to generate another item before the all the items appear. the backend code will only check of unloaded progress once it tries to generate the next item

do idle factories work when they are on another planet? or do they have to be on screen?
