This is the More Italian Provinces Mod

I made this mod originally for myself as i have always felt there were not enough provinces in the Italy.

This Mod adds 33 provinces to Italy, i have tried to be as historically accurate when naming the provinces and cities, this was very hard, much harder than previous region mods.

I am not Italian, neither do i speak Italian, for naming the provinces, i mostly used the names of the cities in those areas, as that seems to be the what those areas where called throughout history. I am completely open to Italian people, telling me more accurate names for provinces or city's.

YES, i am fully aware that this make nations in the Italian region overpowered. I have tried to not let the development get to much higher than in vanilla, but this will not always be possible. I made Modena a vassal of Ferrara, instead of just being owned by them directly, as this seems more historically accurate.

I have not changed any of the missions of any nations, as this mod does not break any missions, in a few cases not giving all the cores it should, or not requiring conquest of new provinces to complete a mission, but this is minor.

This mod is not compatible with any mods which add new provinces or change the Italian region, as well as not being compatible with my other region mods, if you want to use all my region mods in a single playthrough then i made the "More European Provinces" mod, for that exact reason.

If there are any bugs or glitches that you think are associated with the mod, please let me now, so i can fix them. Also there is no localisation in any other language as i only speak English.

Also i have updated the mod to increase the development in the region, on par with how much my other region mods increase the development.

Any way you could make this compatible with this mod? I feel they especially work great together. Notably the Vatican City

I'm a fan of your more provinces mods. Great work! Would you happen to have plans to do one for the low countries at some point? Or are you perhaps aware of other mods that do this?

Shouldn't Ferrara be part of the HRE? In the base game they are.

viterbo has no port. when i build a ship there it doesnt show up on the map and also visually there's no port. the ship exists and can be selected, just cant move it anywhere

Deleted my previous comment so it wouldn't mislead anyone. When I disabled all my other mods it was fixed so it must have been an unexpected interaction with one of them. Thanks!

Hmmm, i don't really know what to say, i am not having the same issue, on my end, i have checked the files and they are there, so i am not sure what is causing the issue. Does the problem still persist when not using any other mods ? If it does, try un-subscribing and subscribing again to get the newest version of the mod, and maybe that will help.
