This is the More Scandinavian Provinces Mod

I made this as whenever i played a nation in this region, i always thought that there were too few provinces, this mod aims to fix that.

This mod adds 35 provinces to the Scandinavian region, 14 in Sweden, 7 in Denmark, 7 in Norway, and 7 in Finland.

I have tried to be as historically accurate as possible when naming the provinces and the cities, this was hard to do as, i am not Scandinavian, and there were often not names for some of the provinces in 1444.

I am completely open to people from the area to pointing me to more accurate names for the provinces.

I have made it so that the names for the provinces of Finland change depending on whether it is independent, or if owned by a nation with the Swedish, Danish, or Norwegian, primary culture. I have also done this for some other provinces across the region.

YES, i am fully aware that this make the nations of Scandinavia overpowered, especially Sweden, this also means that Sweden will have a higher liberty desire at the start of the game, but seeing as nine times out of ten, it breaks away anyway, i don't see this as an issue.

I didn't change the missions for any of the countries as none of them were broken with the new provinces, and i want to keep this mod as compatible as possible, the only issue, is that missions will not give cores for some of the new provinces.

This mod is not compatible with any mods that add new provinces or significantly change the Scandinavian region, it also isn't compatible with my "More British Provinces" mod, but eventually i will make a patch mod to make them compatible, but only if people want it.

EDIT : Also now i have uploaded my main mod which will have all the regions together, which i will update with regions, as well releasing standalone region mods like this one.

I have updated the mod and fixed the issue, you should now be able to add new provinces to the HRE.

I have a problem, It's not possible to add the newly added provinces from the mod into the holy roman empire. I can show screenshots if you need, the button to add the new provinces to the empire does not exist for the provinces added by this mod.

No not really once you know how to do it, it doesnt take that long as, there are only 4 folders you need from the game files, the "Common" "History", "Map", and "Localisation". Modding for the fist time can be tricky, but there are great tutorials out there.

I would say this mod took me 6 hours, but that was mostly research on the names and cities of the provinces.

seems great if i could just recomend one thing based on the pictures i would recomend splitting jämtland in two and greating härjedalen as well jämtland is not that big and i hate seing it in the normal game
