"-and if that don't work, use more gun."
We bring you an arsenal filled with fine, quality projectile weaponry.
Our armaments are military-grade. That does not mean they are tailor-made to a sheen;
It means they're built to arm millions. People like you, your neighbors, and I.


"Our voices will be heard."
Here's what's in stock:

- Deck Mortars! Like an explosive one-barreled deck cannon.
- Deck Artillery! Imagine the deck cannon, but longer-ranged. And also explosive!
- Flamethrowers! I promise, these ones don't suck. They deal thermal damage!
- Hardlight shields! More fragile than regular shields, but they don't constantly drain energy...
- EM Radio! Put your enemies in a jam - a power jam!

And then.. our main course.
Guns, guns, guns! Things that spit lead, and go "BANG!"

- Small ones that fit into fighter-ships, long barrels that extend out from walls, roof-mounted guns that fire above!
- Standard machineguns, cannon-sized; for those that prefer the ol' reliables.
- Point-machineguns! Because energy point defense is SO next-century.
- And lastly, Autocannons! A wonderfully automatic alternative to the Large Cannon!

"Beautiful in name only."
Straying from standard energy guns and laser blasters, General Munitions is focused overall on "old-style" weaponry that primarily includes lead firearms, explosives, and flame.

I hope you enjoy my lil' military-themed mod! There will be more to come in the future :3
Bullets temporarily cannot set things on fire until I get the weapons to work with Heat.
This also means that the Flamethrower is near-useless rn.

Do you ever plan to re-add fire damage on penetration? I know the system changed somewhat with meltdown, but it's been out for a while, and one of the main motivators of projectile weapons was their chance to start fires. Right now it seems like you commented-out the depreciated fire format from shots, but didn't add the updated version currently used by vanilla cannons?

I think the artillery and mortar deserve a range buff, because right now they just feel like a deck cannon with less dps. Also real artillery that isnt the size of a barracks can shoot over 10 km so idk

is there any way you could make an optional patch to remove the deck colliders? i love making deck gun saturated ships but the waste of shells from the guns not bothering to check in front of them is a bit annoying
