Updated for Vanilla/RE2 for CPU compliance and added newest deco blocks.

This cheap, -U- Universal, [Vanilla/Reforged 2], Garden - Farm, Size 3, Tier 2/2 core, Level 10 multipurpose, industrial starter warehouse base comes with 1 advanced constructor, 2 small constructors, full medical and bath, oxygen, 5 fridges, and 4 food processors. Doubles as a medium landing pad with optional Repair Bay and Console available.

Uses all Vanilla assets for universal use in all scenarios that allow the workshop.

For storage comes with 2 container controllers at 320k that are combinable in Reforged along with 29 color coded and speed sorted cargo boxes. For security has maximum Vanilla 8 Sentrys with locations for 4 additional turret weapons.

Add 9 more solar panels in Reforged 2 if desired. Add Plasma Turbines underground. Ready for 16 Wind Generators in Reforged on compatible planets. Additional protection can be added with anything similar to this:

This base allows you to expand your farm as needed growing food, meds, and ammunition for play then evolves for fuel and ingot production throughout end game.

Since water collection is performed so early on it has become more convenient to produce fuel here on my homeworld rather than haul massive amounts of water to my Space Station.

Ready for Reforge Eden 2.0

[Reforged 2 Only] Wind Generators are not allowed in blueprints and only work on temperate planets that are not too hot or cold, low radiation, and breathable atmosphere. Using Plasma Turbines (placeable underneath the base) is more convenient.

This starter base is ready for 216 growplots and 24 hydroponic lamps. Room for 9 constructors/deconstructors, Universal constructors, Teleporter, generators, and more storage.

216 growplots happen to be the amount of growplots required for most Helios Garden Modules. If you go to your nearest Dead/Dread planet you can acquire bones, calcium, and all the "Steel" growplots you may need for your playthrough. These growplots can be re-used, if desired, for your Helios playthrough.

Perhaps it is because I play Reforged on single player hard mode I have noticed that, over the last few major updates, I am either Sick, poisoned, radiated, or half dead anytime I am out and about exploring, raiding, and collecting resources.

I am more often too remote to use medical stations and have to rely on food/meds available from the fridge using wifi or what I have on my person while raiding. So additional farming is required.

Some people put farms in every base and CV possible for use as needed. In my experience, this has been disastrous and more than frustrating[rage]. My CV always gets a hole in the hull and I lose all my plants. So I centralize my farming usually on my home starter planet and also in space on a module in my deep space carrier for longer trips.

Or use a starter Helios Garden, placed in front of your local UCH Research Station for a safer place in preparation for your Helios playthrough later on.

Nice base. I had it ripped from the inside out. There was only one lamp. I didn't grow anything while I was fighting inside that basement maze.

Thanks Nothemal! With Teleporter access, you can farm larger amounts of meds/food/fuel when you want/need. By late game, there is enough food/meds/fuel for all of my "away bases" HVs, SVs, CV explorers/fighters. Can free up my time, for more exploring/raiding, speeding up my playthrough by being more efficient. Prevents you from constantly having to "farm".

NIce layout with a clean look. Great for a planet side farm. Starting to agree about not farming with CVs anymore...
