This mod add many lockers in game , with each of the 5 inventory icon tab on it, alongside several additional category, full list lower in the description.

I had that idea because i though it could be helpfull for inventory sorting.

For start you had to craft a Icon Lockers Vending Machine in the Inventor's table for 300px.
Then you can buy lockers for 120px unit.

Each of them have 64 slots, and refrigerated.

Of course all lockers will accept all kind of items, icon on it are only a visual information for help sorting, but they are still "normal" storage device.

Full list of icon lockers :
- all 5 inventory tab icon (the base idea, hence the name)
- mech icon (mech part mech blueprint mech craft material)
- poptop figurine(action figurine)
- rage augment (augments)
- bug in a jar
- block (and platform)
- armor (note its a "def" icon, not "shield" , shield may go into "weapon" IMO)
- music instrument
- horse mask (vanity item)
- diamond (for ores)
- pickaxe (for tools, like torchlamp, flares, drills ...)
- sword (melee)
- fossil
- cooked steak (food)
- capture pod
- wheat (crop)
- pet collar
- healing item
- fishing
- fuel
- dye
- money
- codex
- ranged (previous "weapon" is now "melee")
- throwable
- upgrade thing (tech card/upgrade module/mmupgrade)
- vehicle pod
- wiring
- modded things
- ? (other)
- coffee


At some point i had to add a vending machine and put all of them inside because i've made a lot of lockers and a filled Hand crafting list is annoying.
Feel free to make icon suggestions, if i find them interesting enough i'll add them.

Update 2.0 :
- 5 lockers added (augment / bugs / capture pod / collar / figurine)
- reworked the outline (if you dont like that change feel free to tell me)
- renamed all locker for get them in the wanted order in the crafting list (and make fit the name into the tooltip)

Update 2.1 + 2.2 :
- Added 12 lockers
- Change the craft by hand for a Vending Machine

Update 2.3 :
- Added 12 lockers (again)

Update 2.4 :
- Added 1 locker (coffee)

i'll add that to my todo list but idk when i'll make them , i usualy make mod by "session" and i stop modding starbound many months ago, but i'll go back soon or late , no doubt about that.

Amazing. I would like to request an additional icon that has for example living root as the icon, to symbolize organic crafting material, since I always separate organic and electronic/mechanical crafting materials.

But these kinf storage already exist in game no ? (like treasure barrel , mining crate and things like that) , if you speak about missing kind you can come and ask on discord , maybe send wiki link of an object who can be turned into a storage too for example.

About the lockers displaying things i've just add create lockers visual from existing inventory icon , but you can store block into a food storage if you want.

Make a chest detect and siplay what is inside will ask .lua knowledge i don't have, but if never you have suggestion about addition tab icons lockers feel free to ask.

@dr_shadox I love that you're still so active in this community!
I'd love to see you make what I'm talking about if I can articulate it properly, I've loved you're other mods, "themed pet houses". I'll be in the discord bc character limit

Essentially what I'm looking/hoping for is very vanilla storage. Somewhat similar to the "Mining Supplies Crate" or "Treasure Barrel" already within the game. E.G. pickaxes go into the mining supples crate, gold & silver or packed pixels in the treasure barrel. I want something that expands upon this type of storage where its visually related to the items inside.

TLDR;; I just want it to be aesthetically pleasing, non-cheaty, lite, way to display whats inside of a chest w.o re-naming it, or other things with a heavy algorithm for low-end PCs.

About the rework/reskin you speak about the mod on that page ? or one of my others ? i'm not sure.
I've made a cheat and a legt version of prety much all my storages mod except this one, it was planed to do it if players ask for.

loveee the idea of this, faved this mod to keep up with it.
unsure if you've considered it but i'd love to see a re-skin/re-work of this mod (the "more legit ver") where each storage visually looks like the items that would go in it.
i would re-skin it myself for my personal game, but i lack the ability to change the code from 2x2 chest to other shapes. though im definitely thinking about playing around w/ learning the coding if you'd be fine with it? for personal use only ofc.
