SCS Painted Tank Trailers

描述
This mod adds paintable versions with proper gloss finish (instead of chromed) for the default SCS Bulk Feed, Chemical, Dry Bulk, Food and Fuel tankers, i also unlocked all the default SCS paint jobs base color and added a custom and metallic color option so you can change it to whatever you want.

  • -For the Bulk Feed, Chemical and Dry Bulk tankers i added new bodies with gloss finish compatible with all the chassis configurations.

  • -For the Food tank i added new bodies with gloss finish compatible with all the chassis configurations, and added matching chassis configurations with gloss finish fenders for the 48' and 53' chassis length (since someone from SCS thought it was a good idea to separate them), also, added individual rear fenders for the dolly that connects the Double, RM double and Triple chain setups.

  • -For the Fuel tank i added new chassis configurations with gloss finish for the tank body.

All the new parts say "Paint" on them, you will need to pay close attention to the Food tanks if you use a Double, RM Double or Triple chain setup to make sure you change the fenders on the dolly for the gloss finish ones, on the Fuel tank only the chassis configurations change, not the bodies.

This mod is only compatible with 1.48+ but i didn't version lock it.

It's compatible with the Classic Stripes and Retrowave Paint Jobs DLC's

Hello, I can skin a new fuel28.dds file, but I can't see a way to make this mod work with my skin.
I must be missing something, I can see the Paint version, and the chrome has gone which is great, but I just get the blank template when I load my skin on it, I'm running ver 1.56 , is that the problem ?

I got the gray skin when I put one on one of our company skins.
This is the part I missed. Hope it helps you.

Joe, how do you actaully get this to take the shine off? I subscribed to it but dont see anywhere in game that it makes a difference. Do I need to make a change in the MS2 project to get it to be effective?

Great mod! Is it possible to add the 32' size of the Bulk Feed Trailer to the mod?

Sadly i can't do anything about that, i can't make it work with every single paintjob mod out there, unless you're talking about a paintjob DLC i missed.

Unfortunately it doesn't work with all skins, some have a matt gray shell, it's a shame otherwise it would be really interesting.
