Help for Melee Characters

描述
This makes Rogue and Paladin a bit easier to play in melee.

I think that this game is very hard for melee characters (except maybe a warlock). Most of the time you fall back to your ranged attacks even with the Rogue and Paladin because enemies deal a lot of damage and diminishing returns on armor values mean it's very hard to defend against attacks in melee.
This mod attemps to fix that by changing a few skills. The changes are very minor for now.

Changes:
Paladin
Mace Swing (Mainhand Attack):
Flames of Devotion now unlocks at Adept Tier instead of Expert.

Shining Knight (Passive):
This skill now additionally gives physical damage block. (Works similar to armor in the first game, i.e. it flatly reduces damage by the stated amount)
Armor bonus is now +10/+20/+30 (was +10/+20/+40)
Block amount is 5/6/8

Rogue
Twin Daggers (Mainhand Attack):
Deep Cuts upgrade now also adds a chance to inflict Minor Weakness (reduces damage of enemy by 10%)
Chance for Bleed and Minor Weakness is 10%/25%/40% (applied seperately and for each of the two hits)

New (25. August 2023):
Mace Swing now gives a stack of "Holy Purpose" with every hit. This buff gives +1 to strength and armor for every stack. Max Stacks: 20

Most of this is related to your difficulty. Melee is fine on normal difficulty... My rogue on Hard is fine in melee, just gotta get to lvl 5-10 ish for them to "come online."

All this does is early game manageable and late game even easier than it already is even on harder difficulties... just lower the difficulty.
