CAP Enhanced Code

Note: This addon is a standalone version of CAP Enhanced, and should not be loaded along with the original CAP

CAP Enhanced is based of the original Carter's Addon Pack addon. It brings lots of new content while fixes a few bugs in the original addon

Please keep in mind. This addon is still work in progress, and although stable, new features and changes should be expected.

Among the many features added, the following can be mentioned:


Revised power system
The power system has been revised and, a new flowrate has been introduced, running in the unit of Watt. A max flowrate has been introduced to the zpm hubs, where the Atlantis hub has the highest max flowrate. Going above this flowrate will slowly make the zpm hub overload. Once 25% overload is reached, the failsafe kicks in and disconnect the zpms.

If the failsafe is disabled ( through Wiremod), you can draw more power from it for a longer amount of time but the overload will continue to rise, creating more sparks, until hitting 100%, at which the zpm hub will explode.
This can be configured and disabled in the configs.


Extended wormhole sequence

The gate travel has also been updated. Using the original code from EAP which has been improved upon a lot. ( Huge thanks to them for their genius code, link to the project in the credits section)

Objects and players, now take 3.8 seconds to traverse the wormhole, where players will see a wormhole animation. In this version, certain issues with objects traversing the wormhole and bugging out on exit, has been fixed. A feature for the wormhole transition for ships, has also been added.


Drone Chair

The drone chair has also received updates. An Antarctica version of the chair itself has been added, along with a new base platform. These can be switched to in the context menu.
The drone chair now requires the ATA gene to operate. (An injection can be found in the misc. weapons under cap). The drone chair now has a built-in shield generator, and a new UI interface. The player now has control over the shields, chair rotation, the drones, plus some hidden features 😉.

I'm not sure I understand the flowrate mechanic. Just having a shield core active and not under stress causes an Atlantis hub to reach the emergency cutoff in just over a second.

idk if im doing something wrong but the puddle jumper wont work cause i can only sit in the passenger seat and not the driver seat

Peak, tho could be better the energy ball from pulse riffle goes through and crossbow bolts and all particles and effects and certain custom guns that use stuff like that, like uzis rail gun or the genkidma mod, fixed yes but all the shields could be upd to block pretty much everything ik its possible. then the star gate the same things a shields but for allowing things through. fix/upd. for better support of going through and blocking, it would be cool, Yeah:)
