Escaping - Things Gamemode

Note: English isn’t my main language, so I might make a few (lot) grammatical mistakes.
This is my first addon :D.


Due to the workshop's character limit, I'll only list the systems included in this gamemode here.
However, if you're interested, here's a document that contains everything you need to know about how each system works: ET Document [drive.google.com]
I'd highly recommend reading about the following systems: Custom Round, Round System, Storage Of Items, Map Voting and the Gamemode Manager UI.

If you don't care about all of the above, you can just play the default rounds that come with the gamemode.
Alternatively, you could download my Escaping - Things "preset" – just make sure to paste it into garrysmod/data and download all the addons from the collection "Escaping - Things My Preset". Almost everything is in Spanish, so... keep that in mind.

This is just extra content :).

I tried to do my own version — and I took a lot of inspiration from the addon ‘Sliding Ability’ (please don’t sue me), works as your average sliding mechanic, the only difference being that players can use this to fly in the air for a limited amount of time (this is supposed to be a bug but it’s cool, right?).
If the addon ‘Sliding Ability’ is installed, then this gamemodes’s slide will automatically be disabled to avoid any problem (and because the addon is 1000x better than mine).

Just an average camera movement feature :). It isn’t ultra-realistic, but you might like it (I hope).
If you’re already using related addons, you can disable it by using the console command “et_toggle_viewbob_menu.”

Most horror maps disable your flashlight in order to make it scarier, but I wanted to do the opposite. So, I started watching tutorials on how Garry's Mod Lua worked (Thx, Code Blue).

And as you may know, in 2022 - 2023 nextbots exploded in popularity, therefore, I tried to do my own thing. Of course, due to my 0 coding skills I created an abomination in terms of coding, but at least it worked :P.
Forgot to mention, this isn't related to the current gamemode. This old version was executed in Sandbox. However, it had its charm and the ideas — like the Storage Of Items.
