描述
Purchase equipment at ports with tiny diamonds and diamond briefcases. Requires leadership and some assembly.

The intent of this mod was to make a shop mod that is more in line with JA3's emphasis on scavenging for gear. Rather than buying gear with straight money, you have to use diamonds and briefcases which are harder to come by. You're not meant to kit your whole squad with AK74s, heavy armor and a thousand bullets each with this mod, but make each purchase a meaningful decision. Round out the team loadout, get a significant upgrade or load up on a type of ammo in a pinch, etc was the idea here.

To aid this, you can split a suitcase of diamonds into 10 tiny diamonds with a knife. Also of note: default explosive recipes have been moved to craft ammo. Long story short its a work-around.

KNOWN ISSUES:
-You can't craft guns from an operation or have a combination result in more than 2 tiles of items, I'm working within limits.
-Balance is probably garbo, I have yet to play a game with this.

Yes, the cash loss + some items requiring suitcases and others requiring tiny diamonds I feel leads to a more interesting decision to be had when cutting down a suitcase.

Hmm, 1 suitcase of diamonds worth $12.000, cut into 10 pcs of tiny diamonds worth $5.000.

Is this design intentional?

We put the suitcase in the pocket of the mercenary, the connect option appears, add a knife and get 10 bags of diamonds.

After the last patch, diamonds are taken from the suitcase, but there is no longer an inventory purchase icon in the ports

Is anybody having problems cutting big diamond into tiny diamonds? I can´t see the ¨combine¨ options at all when selecting Saphires or the big diamond. Maybe is this caused by the last patch?

Could be that your inventory was full. I haven't used this mod in a long time. Think I remember having the same issue,
