描述
The SS Boston II is a miniature ocean liner based off of my original SS Boston from last year. It is a complete redesign, and improves on the original in almost every way I could think of.

STATS:
The Boston II is about 52 Meters long and 9 Meters wide with a draft of 3 Meters.

Top speed is 26 Knots.

Powerplant is twin coal fired steam engines, powering one large propeller.

The vessel is equipped with 4 hand cranked lifeboats.

The vessel has capacity for: 1 Captain, 2 Mates, 6 First Class passengers, and 16 Second Class passengers and/or Crew members.

OPERATION:
To start the engines, light the fireboxes in the boiler room and then turn on the pumps in the engine room. You will need to manually refill the coal occasionally.

OTHER:
Thanks to GrumpyOldMan for help with the engines!

Broski was begging ship creators for subs on his boiler engine

Yes, I am aware that they existed, but there were only 2 operational in 1912, and they were both very large and considered somewhat experimental.

Not to mention the fact that if I wanted oil power, I would just use the diesel burner instead of your creation.

Also not to mention that you creation would not even fit my design.

Not to mention that it wouldn't even have the coal shoveling and manually operated fireboxes that make it feel more authentic.

Not to mention that my coal engine is custom built for this ship and adding in a prebuilt engine would also lead a number of other unanticipated problems.

Not to mention that coal is more efficient anyways.

Stop asking.

Oil powered ships wouldn't make any sense either.

i mean instead of using coal use diesel as bunker oil, and diesel engines as furnaces and diesel furnaces.

There was only one ocean going diesel powered ship in existence at that time.
