Built upon the reliable DZ-50 platform, the DZ-52 features a modified rear cargo area that is specifically designed to securely transport various types of ammunition. It is equipped to carry 24 rounds of 100mm battle cannon ammunition, ensuring that heavy armored vehicles or artillery units have a sufficient supply during extended operations.

In addition to the battle cannon ammunition, the DZ-52 also carries 600 rounds of light autocannon ammunition, which is crucial for providing suppressive fire and engaging enemy targets effectively. Furthermore, the vehicle provides storage for 25 clips of assault rifle ammunition, with each clip holding 30 rounds. This ammunition supply ensures that infantry units have access to additional firepower when needed.

Recognizing the importance of protecting these vital munitions, the DZ-52 All-Terrain Ammo Truck features measures to safeguard the ammunition from damage or tampering. The cargo area is designed with reinforced walls and compartments that provide adequate protection against impacts, vibrations, and environmental elements.

The DZ-52 All-Terrain Ammo Truck can also be paired with the Ammo Trailer, further increasing its ammunition carrying capacity. When combined with the trailer, the DZ-52 can transport additional rounds of various calibers, expanding its logistical capabilities and supporting larger-scale operations.

Like its predecessors, the DZ-52 maintains the exceptional all-terrain capabilities of the DZ-50 chassis. This ensures the vehicle's ability to navigate challenging and rugged terrains, enabling it to reach forward operating bases and combat zones where ammunition resupply is critical.

While the DZ-52 focuses on ammunition transport rather than personnel, it still maintains the crew of two, consisting of a driver and a radio operator. This enables effective communication and coordination with other units during resupply operations.
