[WOTC] Combine Intervention - Raider Faction

描述
The formidable Combine have made their presence known, strategizing to conquer Earth and vanquish both XCOM and ADVENT in their path to dominance!

After noticing the Psionic Storms unleashed by the Elders during their time on planet Earth, the Combine have finally discovered them. They have managed to establish a modest foothold, harboring ambitions of global domination and the annihilation of both ADVENT and XCOM. This Submod, built upon my primary Combine Intervention Mod, separates the Combine Units from the ADVENT Faction and introduces them as a distinct Raider Faction. Brace yourself, for the Combine are now capable of turning your existence and that of ADVENT into an unrelenting nightmare!

New Content:
  • New Combine Raider Faction: This faction is made up of all the combine units from the main Combine Intervention Mod, removing them from the ADVENT Unit Pool. Currently included Units are:

    • The Metropolice (9mm Pistol, Stun Baton or Submachine Gun)
    • The Combine Soldiers (Submachine Gun, 12-Gauge Shotgun or AR2 Pulse Rifle)
    • The Combine Elite (AR2 Pulse Rifle)

Highly Recommended Mods:
  • Raider Faction Bases - Raider factions have their own headquarters spread across the world, along with covert operations and specific mission types, allowing XCOM to engage in strategic encounters and gain valuable resources.
  • Raiders and Resistance Strategic Spawning - The Raiders will spawn at different locations across the map, rather than directly besides the objective.
  • AI to AI Activations - Raiders will initiate combat with ADVENT, Lost and other forces autonomously, without the need for activation by XCOM units.

There are some errors in the Max count and array entries in XComEncounters

Even when I have the sitrep these guys never show up on the map.

I don't really want them to show up with the Advent - is there a version where they're *just* raiders?

I got Combines only once and then never again. Did I fuck up something or it is because of More maps mod?

Question, where in the ini files do you edit the Combine Soldiers to make sure that more soldiers spawn in the mission? Think 12-18 soldiers to match against you and ADVENT.

I didn't find any combine soldier in my mission with ''Combine Intervention'' sitrep. I don't know why for it.

There is a duplicate mistake in the encounterlist Encounter_Combine_Normal_FL16 :
ForceSpawnTemplateNames[2]="CombineSoldierAR2", <---- this should be removed ForceSpawnTemplateNames[2]="CombineEliteAR2", <---- or this should be [3]

I think you could check around and eventually add the APF, the Ordinal, the Grunts and the Chargers from the HLA mods. You could even try to tweak things, idk if you know TheParryGod (check on YTB) but he made a combine "spikewall" which is basically a transition combine shotgunner, that could be cool to see. I like to do one by using tinted Elite Torso, tinted Charger legs, tinted APF arms, and tinted charger head
