SS Greystone

**This Ship is heavily inspired by the ROBLOX game "Sinking of Greyrock" by Mr Greystone.**


-* Fictional History *-

The SS Greystone was an ocean liner built in 1925 for the Greystone Charter Point, the Vessel was designed with a non-classed passenger layout, as there were no classes the ship became wildly popular among lower-paid workers, and their families. She featured a Royal Rusty Triple Expansion engine, with her top speed reaching 15 knots.

She had enough carrying capacity to transport over 976 people and 97 crew members, she featured many amenities, such as personal toilets, heating, and ac systems, with libraries and grand dining rooms to better the experience.

on the night of September 27th, 1931, after a long boarding process, in which many safety regulations were ignored and blatantly disregarded, over 1300 people boarded the Greystone, with historians speculating that more than 576 stowaways were onboard unregistered.

the Greystone was heading to her usual charter port at Novotorosk when at 1:08 am, she hit the rocks surrounding said port.

She Sank in less than 30 minutes taking over 871 people with her, the sinking caused widespread shock and disbelief in the shipping world around Newhavenn and surrounding towns and cities.

-and is fully advanced and can be started without fuel or electricity.

-* How to Sink Her *-

You sink her by pressing multiple buttons in the officer quarters behind the wheelhouse, there are many ways to save the ship, in which one sinking is able to be stabilized and the ship can be rescued.
Current sinking options include:

-**Bow Sinking**, the ship will experience damage about the same as a reef collision or a rock collision, this sinking can only be slowed down by closing all watertight doors and activating all pumps.

-**Stern Sinking**, this sinking is caused by a stern collision with an underwater reef, causing the ship to lose all power instantly, the ship will start to imminently lose power, this sinking is saveable if the right doors are opened and closed.

-**Ramming Damage**, this sinking will simulate a bow-ward collision with another ship, this sinking will imminently cause a boiler room to flood, with water reaching the upper decks imminently, causing her to list and roll. the sinking is only able to be slowed down, the water will overreach the watertight doors causing her to capsize and sink anyway.

(NOTE: THIS SINKING IS NOT FINISHED AND WILL BE WORKED ON AND UPDATED, AS OF RIGHT NOW IT WILL ONLY SINK IF ALL WATERTHIGHT DOORS ARE OPEN AND REMAIN OPEN.)
