Updating to Riftbreaker 2.0.
Update mod to DLC3 and WE3.
If anyone is curious about the below question, this is vanilla behavior. I believe the tools reset on map change, or the tool settings are saved per map instance (in which case new maps have tools set to default).
I noticed an issue but i do not know is it a problem with base game or this mod.
For example i always use Repair tool on maximum (biggest) area possible.
But after some time (or perhaps changing the outpost/map or using the other Area tools) the Repair area will shrink/reduce down to a much smaller size, and i have to again increase it to maximum.
