The MAV-26L Rhino Lotus is a fluid tanker based on the 6x6 version of the Rhino chassis. The larger size of the MAV-26 chassis provided adequate space for the installation of the 12.6 kL tank, and fluids can be pumped in and out of the tank using the ports located on either side of the vehicle. The Lotus can be used to transport crude oil from a drilling well to a refinery, transport diesel fuel to a gas station, or even supply firefighting crews with water.

With the Multipurpose Armored Vehicle series of vehicles nearing the end of development, the Jolter Logistics board member and the Engineering Regiment board member hastily approved three variants for the 6x6 chassis: The MAV-26L Rhino Lotus, the MAV-26R Rhino Rubble, and the MAV-26S Rhino Scorpion. Because the projects were simple to develop, their development occurred simultaneously, becoming available to external users less than one week after being approved.
