Mind you that the modification DOES NOT work on Windows 7!


Tips on how to play:
- Remember to often save game on different slots
- Pick the same dialog options for important (especially fabular) decisions
- Stay together and don't kill enemies without your coop friend nearby
- Some dialogues are better to be triggered on the client first, e.g. every "okay, let's go" dialogue (to Lester for example). The positions are streamed from the host so NPC on the client won't move until the player who is the server says this dialogue.
- You can temporarily pause all coop synchronizations by pressing F2. This is useful if the NPC sync is bugged, you can go back to a single-player mode, talk to NPC for example, trigger the same mission state, and enable synchronizations again by pressing F2.
- If you both have a good internet connection, the less advanced player should be a host for the easier game (no ping) and fewer issues

Keyboard shortcuts:
F1 - start the game server (press on HOST only)
F2 - join the server on the client (pressing again switches to single-player mode)
F3 - respawn the coop player's characters
F4 - revive the player when he is dead
P - disable or enable the logger
O - debug info (useless for players, press again to hide)

Config options:
- server: server IP
- port: server Port
- playersDamageMultipler: MUST be the same for all players! This is the percentage of damage dealt by the player, 100% by default. You can change anything from 1 to 100.
- npcsDamageMultipler: MUST be the same for all players! This is the percentage of damage dealt by all NPCs to players, 100% by default. You can change anything from 100 to 500.
- toggleGameLogKey: Key that toggles the game log.
- toggleGameStatsKey: Key that toggles debug info.
- startServerKey: Key that starts the server.
- startConnectionKey: Key that starts a connection to the server.
- reinitPlayersKey: Key that respawns all players.
- revivePlayerKey: Key that starts the revive for the focused coop friend player.
- friendInstanceId - by default set to CH, please don't change it thoughtlessly like "it will be funny to be Xardas". Some mods may have the Character Helper (ch) removed, so ONLY then should you use this option. An example is Gothic NEW BALANCE, for Gothic Returning/NB, we set this option to PC_HEROMUL.
- bodyTextVarNr: number designated to the body texture you want to use for your character
- headVarNr: number designated to the head texture you want to use for your character

Hey chief!
The mod for the most part works perectly, there's only one issue that I don't see anybody else having. Namely, the person connecting to the host seems to be doing more damage than the host. We both have same values set in the .JSON file, we have the same mods and plugins and this issue seems to only occurs with spells for some reason. if you have any ideas what might be causing this, it'd be great, but if not, too bad but no worries!

Nice work, it just works, and me and my Friend are playing. Its not a perfect gem, but it ist more than my childish dreams have ever hoped for. Thank you, youre doing gods work.

there's literally a screenshot from Archolos in this post, it works but poorly (even worse than for vanilla)

I highly doubt it will work that way. There's a lot of other stuff like cutscenes and gameplay mechanics in there too

you can copy the files from this mod to Archolos instance if you want
