I do not condone or in any way endorse the crimes that the Empire of Japan has committed against humanity. The purpose of this mod is to purely entertain and educate.


Youkai roam the Galaxy, Shinto Talismans fly in the wind, and empty casings ring against the concrete.
History, it seems, repeats again.


Welcome to Red Sun Rising, an expansion pack for Galaxy in Conflict, adding brand new apparel, weapons and trinkets for your playthroughs, themed around Imperial Japanese Army of the World War 2 period (and beyond).

To start with the content, you must first find GiC's Nazrin of Gensokyo and acquire the Grave of Unknown Soldier from her. You can then use it to craft/buy RSR weapons, apparel and trinkets.

- New weapons modeled after iconic armaments of the 2nd Sino-Japanese War, Pacific War, and Cold War from an alternative history universe.
- Uniforms of the World War 2 era Japanese and Chinese armies, alt-historical 1960's IJA, and clothes of fantastical Miko-hei - "Maiden-Soldiers" of H-Kikan group that once invaded Gensokyo.
- Trinkets that are designed to compliment an existing roster of insertable equipment, magical or otherwise. Driving philosophy behind them is to "fill in the gaps", giving you extra options for your ultimate loadout.
- Following GiC philosophy, every piece of gear is provided with educational historical trivia, and/or contains lore, both GiC-related and some of its own.

It is my first mod of such caliber, and as any mod made out of pure passion and dedication, it may contain some bugs, errors and other oddities here and there. Please report them here or message me directly via Discord.
