The Fallen Eagle BetterBlobs Submod

描述
This mod is the second mod in my 'BetterBlobs' series (Imperator Rome: "TE : Crisis of the Third Century BetterBlobs Submod", CKIII: "The Fallen Eagle BetterBlobs Submod", EU4: "BetterBlobs: Natives & Institution Spread"), which is meant to enhance a megacampaign playthrough to increase historicity and realism dynamically, in contrast to normal megacampaigns which 'diverge' in their plausibility very quickly. Instead of 'railroading', this is done through clever dynamic re-balancing.

Requires 'The Fallen Eagle' mod. You can find it here: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2243307127

There is also a Chinese Translation mod by: @牛奶大魔王
You can find it here: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3403925213

Reworked Tribes
Tribes cannot directly 'create' or 'usurp' kingdom or empire titles, and must acquire them by other means. This is different for nomads, or any nation that has 70% of classical technologies researched.

It is much more expensive to convert tribal holdings if they are in a taiga or mountain holding without the 'Urbanization' innovation. Deserts, Jungles, and Desert mountains are always much more expensive.

Additionally, more checks are added for tribal nations, as well as some mild conversions on day 1 of a megacampaign converted save-

Also, tribes cannot directly form confederations into united states, they must become feudal (or nomadic) first.

Several tweaks to nomads, including preventing an AI Great Khan from instantly settling the entire steppe, instead the AI goes with the enhanced horde option.

Authority Cost Rebalancing
For every powerful vassal or elector that is disloyal or in a faction (without a strong hook) the cost to pass a law is generally increased by 100% (after all other modifiers, so it is very important to get loyal powerful vassals and any electors before passing reform)
(This on average keeps the HRE decentralized, rather than them always getting to absolute crown authority by EU4 time)

Changlong:
1.1:

Stopped unreformed faiths from converting too easily through the yearly AI conversion pulse event, now conversion is dynamically based on a religion's tenets. (Missionaries heavily accepted gives a large boost, while 'Cultural only' pillar makes the dynamic conversion almost never happen, similarly the pluralism doctrine (of the unreformed character's faith) increases the chances an unreformed ai character being converted, while the inverse doctrine significantly lowers the chances, ect.)
ect.

RECOMMENDATION FOR MEGACAMPAIGNS:

I recommend when converting to EU4, in the shatter.txt file for releasing powerful vassals, setting the sensitivity to a very high number, at least 300 if not 1,000. The balancing of this Fallen Eagle BetterBlobs Submod is such that there will likely be a mix of bur/imperial and feudal/clan (and tribal) realms in 1444. This will make it so 'bureaucratic' realms akin to (Spain, English Crown, ect.) will be imported with 'directly owning' their entire country, while nations such as France, HRE, Timmurids, will be expanded with many vassals as they start the game in EU4.

I agree, that was something i wanted to test next, but I’d like to find a dynamic way of doing it rather than how the game treats the Iberian caliphate

Is it possible to make an adjustment to Western Rome so that it doesn't collapse too quickly in the 395 AD scenario, and instead have a special war or something set around 476 AD to trigger its collapse?

@牛奶大魔王 Thanks! That is awesome. I appreciate you doing that. I will edit the description-

Huge new update. The mod now requires the Fallen Eagle. Further changelog will come later, it is currently incomplete. I will make a playlist of optional recommended supplementary mods, but for now the mod 'Siege devastation' is my current recommendation:

@denimlevi100 I have been waiting on Fallen Eagle to Update, but my current 'beta' version (unlisted) -which works without Fallen Eagle, should work on the latest version:
https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3265827992

You'd be welcome to try and see if it works, any feedback would be invaluable for the version I hope to release ASAP when the Fallen Eagle is released. The main features are (Migration, semi working)
(Development is destroyed on raids, some perks can resist it like in this mod)

(Cont.)

Well-integrated harder crownland (keeps realms more decentralized on average and not infinitely powerful by the 1400s)

For every powerful vassal or elector that is disloyal or in a faction (without a strong hook) the cost to pass a law is generally increased by 100% (after all other modifiers)

Changes it so religion is not railroaded into reformed religions (no railroaded spread of christianity) instead this 'family' character faith conversion event is dynamic and works based on religion doctrine (plurality)

link to the new version?

@Ēarendel I will be uploading a new version within a few days on my workshop page and will post a new link here. However I am making the mod from the ground up. Extreme compatibility. Optimization, and a reworked system for crown authority that naturally scales in cost based on disloyal powerful vassals/electors (to allow for hundreds of years of gameplay with other Realms not all immediately centralizing due to be locked by tech) Will be compatible with any mod, (Fallen Eagle for example, is the primary purpose. I have BetterBlobs mods for other Paradox Games: Imperator Rome until 361 AD, this mod will work for all of CK3, or until1444 AD, then my biggest BetterBlobs mod currently is for Europa Universalis 4)

The purpose being overall for a vanilla friendly megacampaign with much more plausibility but 100% dynamic and 0% railroaded. But each mod also serving to increase the historicity of each game individually.
