Other trees [in my mod], however, have custom names, so no other mod can conflict with them. But I didn’t do this in all cases, some, like the flesh trees, still use the original names, which means it’s easy for conflicts to happen if another mod also modifies those trees.
At that point, it’s just a matter of identifying which mod causes the conflict and creating a patch, but that’s something I’ll leave to the author of the conflicting mod. This mod comes as-is and is complete; it works exactly as expected 😁
This doesn’t seem to happen when the tree is completely new. Anyway, I’m just rambling here 😁
With this biome, I’ve seen that one specific flesh tree, the one that has a kind of “heart” at the top, doesn’t drop a sapling. It’s the only one that behaves like this, and it doesn’t make sense, since it uses the same file as the rest of the flesh trees and they’re all set to drop saplings. This behavior is on the game’s side and I can’t fix it.
That said, any flesh tree sapling can grow into any type of flesh tree at random, so it’s not really a problem.
If you’re not getting any saplings at all, then you’ve got a conflict with another mod.
I have a small problem with flesh trees. They do not seem to give saplings. Please, may you check?
Although I really liked all the changes, I prefer to set my own custom sky colors, which kept me from using the original mod
