描述

'Allied forces intended to use Heidelberg as a forward garrison due to its excellent rail and highway infrastructure, sparing it from the full devastating power of the RAF and USAAF.

The ruined residential districts provide clear passageways for infantry to snake their way to the Rhine. Establish a strong defense at the river crossings or risk everything with an all-out invasion to the other side.'
