描述
The Ha. 103 is a machine of compromises, all for one goal - fuel efficiency. This lead to, on the one hand, a range of nearly three hundred miles, but on the other, poor visibility, speed, and landing characteristics. It is generally disliked by its two-man crews and maintenance teams alike; owing to the frequency of landing incidents that require difficult repair. Due to the maintenance problems it experiences (among other things) the 103 is used rarely for long ocean crossings where re-fuelling is not an option.
