Mod Info:
This music pack brings the symphonic, dramatic and action-packed soundtrack of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009) to XCOM 2. Crush the alien insurgents and liberate the Earth to 42 orchestral tracks - brought to you by savant composers Hans Zimmer and Lorne Balfe. But be warned: before you set out on this journey of revenge, be sure to dig two graves.

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Music Pack includes:
  • 1 Main Menu Track

  • 1 Geoscape & 3 HQ Tracks

  • 3 Skyranger/Squad Select Tracks

  • 16 Explore Tracks

  • 17 Combat Tracks

  • Win/Loss Endgame Credits Tracks

(Preview the tracks in this music pack by listening to them in the videos provided above!)

Issues & Notes:

- If you install the mod and you find that music refuses to play whilst in combat, try deleting your 'Config' file under this pathway: C:\Users\YourUsername\Documents\My Games\XCOM2 War of the Chosen\XComGame. Next, run XCOM 2 a couple of times to regenerate the 'Config' folder and the music should play just fine.

- Music stutters during drops in FPS. There is nothing I can do to change that. Consider reducing your mod count to minimize this problem.

- For whatever reason MMS does not fully support 'mission complete' or 'after-action' music, and will therefore default to the base game soundtrack 9 times out of 10. In some cases it is possible for after-action music to play, however such instances are rare and sporadic.

- MMS music packs & custom music mods in general have a habit of playing over cutscenes. This one is no different unfortunately.

- MMS is not fully compatible with LWOTC; songs from this pack may fail to play.

- I had to get a little creative with some of these tracks in order to make them loop correctly/cleanly, so some music may sound different to how it does in the original CoD: MW2 OST.

I'm very proud of my work on this one. I was replaying MW2's campaign last year and thought about just how special the music in the game was. I've been working on-and-off with this music pack over the past several months, and I'm finally satisfied with its current state. I really hope I gave this masterpiece of a soundtrack its due justice.

Hello, after several tries is not working for me... Do you know what could happen? I deleted several times the Config, but is still not working. I don't even listen the mod music in the Menu.

The sheer amount of terror from seeing hordes of flesh eating mind controlling parasites that you have no chance of outgunning barrelling down at you in the hundreds is quite anxiety inducing. And then Hans Zimmer goes ham with the Favela theme. This soundtrack fits XCOM2 so well! Thank you for making this mod :)

As it says in the description, this music pack (and MMS as a whole) is not compatible with LWOTC.

Unfortunately, the music only plays at the menu, not in the LWOTC
